I?d like to connect with another organization who uses Policy Stat and talk to them about how they manage approval workflows. It?s helpful if they are similar to us ? Network of several hospitals, but different hospital licenses, but if they aren?t identical to us, that?s ok, too. (looking for a couple contacts through the Policy Stat software team) We do not findperson dependent processes like one person approving hundreds of policies. That?s just not sustainable.
PolicyStat user question
@Jan Sauer ?, @Mimi Houghton-McKie ?, and @Kelly Stimpson , sounds like you are working together on this with @Tamara Westgate . My recommendations for multi-hospital systems is to first (1) standardize your document areas (to the extent reasonably possible), then (2) review your existing committees/teams to see which ones are/should be responsible for documents, then (3) align areas to committees (as much as reasonably possible). This can help streamline & manage the number of workflows and promote accountability. Feel free to email me directly at ckirchner@rldatix.com if you have questions.
